"What's the Big Idea?!" Business Plan Competition:

DO YOU HAVE A BIG IDEA FOR A NEW BUSINESS, BUT DON’T KNOW HOW TO GET IT LAUNCHED?
Recognizing the impact of entrepreneurism on the economic vitality of our region, The Development Corporation of Knox County, the Knoxville Chamber, and Tech2020 have partnered to present “What’s The Big Idea?!” a business plan competition. Four rounds of judging will determine 12 quarterfinalists, 6 finalists, 3 semifinalists, and a winner!
THE “WHAT’S THE BIG IDEA?!” WINNER WILL RECEIVE:
- $10,000 grant for start-up costs
- $15,000 potential equity investment by Oak Ridge National Laboratory & CROET
- One-year’s rent at the Fairview Technology Center
The winner will also receive businesses services provided by:
- Rodefer Moss & Company (accounting)
- CEO Advisors (business coaching)
- Kathleen Zitzman (legal services)
- Knoxville Chamber (membership)
- Tech2020 (business coaching)
