Fairview Start-Up Business Plan Competition

The Fairview Technology Center (FTC) is small business incubator owned by Knox County and managed by The Development Corporation of Knox County and Technology 2020. FTC’s mission is to support the creation and growth of technology based businesses. FTC has organized a Business Competition for the purpose of promoting entrepreneurship and the development of early stage companies, leading to job creation. Its scope covers solicitation of original concept business plans for development of new businesses in the greater Knoxville area. First and second place awards will be made to teams whose business plans and presentations are judged to offer the greatest potential for business growth and job creation in the greater Knoxville area.

An outline of the application process is attached. Applications are due on or before March 11, 2010.
